Ive had problems with my F28 leaking, drove it to and from Maxlive and leaked 5 litres or gear oil in the process(bear in mind an f28 holds 1.8ltrs!).

Looked as though it was coming from the shaft in the bell housing bit, so Lee Mitchell got the seals off and one of them was missing a spring, so replaced them hoping that would cure the problem.

No such luck!

He got it started left it for 3minutes and it was leaking again. Got the box off and upon closer inspection, there was a crack on the 6th gear bearing face.

So, I had this welded up by Martin(Shinee), actually his mate did the welding at a cost of £105. Martin just rang to say not to go get the box today(I was just about to leave) cos he put it back together, was torqueing(sp) up the bolts and its cracked again, in a different place.

£105 down the drain.

And still the cars not working.

Damn thing.

Think it'd be £40 ish but a courier wouldnt just turn up and collect the box. It'd need to be on a pallet and strapped down and wrapped up. Doubt the lad who's got it for sale can be bothered with that!

How much would the train have cost? £65/70. So if i give you £30 is that ok that you bring it down for me? that would be excellent esp. as ive just thrown £105 away! cheers mate.

he didnt break it as such, was putting it back together and it cracked. If he wasnt doing it to the torque setting but just with a breaker bar like, then maybe i'd have a point, but it wasnt his fault.
