another broadband question, sorry! first day i got it i was downloading at 50/60kbs with limewire, which i thought was okay. now however its very rare to get above 5k...

its usually 0.something, or 1k or 2k. whats the point!? might have well have stayed with 56k.

i downloaded something from a server at a steady 260kbs! was wicked...

but P2P running crap. i know it depends on the other persons line as well, but i always select people with T1 connections

u haven't configured ure p2p program correctly, go to the website of the p2p program and find a help section/forum about poor download speeds and configuring firewalls/routers/av programs as its most likely them thats slowing u down

nope wont get any faster, and ive tried everything they say on the website! sometimes it starts off at 10 but will soon be on 0 or 1 i downloaded winmx to try that and for a while i was getting 25 which was good, but left it half hour, came back, couldnt get higher than 3 or 4!
