Im sure there are a lot of topics on this subject. But i couldnt find any specifics on it.
Can anyone recommend a cone filter for this car? Will it make a difference to the TD? What will it sound like?
What sort of exhaust suits this engine best? Am precarious about getting exhaust cus i dont want it to sound like a tractor lol.
Will i see much benefit from a Filter/backbox kit?
Also what susp kits fit the diesel corsa?

Chip, decat, closed induction kit... That should make a difference.
All of the above are very effective on a diesel. I don't know much about that particular engine though...

What about the noise situation? Will the exhaust/induction make it sound better?

Well not really. It will make it louder but I don't personally like the sound of a loude diesel. You will probably find the turbo is loude from inside which can sound quite cool though.

Hmmm loud turbo sounds good.
Somethin i forgot from the main post. Does fitting a bigger intercooler yield good effects?

These chaps are after one to RR and test power figures on if you want a good deal on chipping it.

Gains 12bhp according to that but I'm sure there is some more in there also, you would get proper verification of figures.

The new astra that has came out with the same engine is boasting a massive 90Bhp with no difference to engine except management. So i kno its capable of more. Thanks for link
