First in the UK? Really, I don't think so

These are the ones Rachel modeled on her car, and the black tinted ones.

They look good when the lights are on but in the daytime they are awful.

No, they are awful, they look crap in the day, and don't really look as great as you'd expect at night. I wouldn't bother personally, but its your car.

mate has them on his clio but they have a black background they look well but not the chrome background ones

wouldnt mind trying them if they have the black background, the silver would look tacky during day time i guess. But should look good at night when they are on.
