There lovely in standard form the one on page 2 white with black trim is sooo cool,

Whats with people putting the 1.8 16v engine in them or the williams engines?


And also is the 1.4 Turbo engine as weak as people say?

Turbo engine is prone to blowing up regularly if driven hard & not entirely looked after well. Head Gaskets are prone to going.

People put the newer engines in because they are more reliable, and quite quick with some choice modifications.

Thats the problem, even if the outside is standard, almost every R5GTT you see has soem sort of exhaust or dump valve, never standard.

I believe mine was mate. I bought it from a guy in his mid 40's who has owned it from new since '88. standard

I hear what you're sayin tho. This is exceptional circumstances, any shite out of autotrader will have been fucked with.
