What does it mean when a file name is blue and not black as it normally is?

Thanks

It's NTFS encrypted or compressed (I'm using XP Pro with all the 'protected system files' stuff turned off, so sorry if Allan's answer is the correct answer in this case )

Right click the file > Propeties > General tab > Advanced. See if either the encrypt or compress checkboxes are enable.

If not, I haven't a clue NTFS encrypted/compressed files are the only thing I've ever seen show with a blue font.
