Simpsons Salvage
Back of Auto Trader

Many places. Unless you are doing the work yourself on the very cheap I wouldn't even consider it.

Thing is, you can never really tell if a damaged car is sound until you've bought it.

My bro bought a car that was crashed damaged, only on the left side front. Needed a new wheel, hub and bottom arm.

Replaced all that only to find the chassis was bent and needed to be jigged which was rather pricy.

I dont think id ever buy a damaged car unless it was panel/fire damage.

The few that i've been looking at have had similar damage to what my Vectra recently had - wing/bumper/lights - which i now know is easy enough to put right. Just a case of carefully assessing the full extent of damage before buying these cars i guess..

And also factor in about 30% more budget in case you don't get the assessment right.
