2 Cobra's and 2 Sub Frame things for an escort but they're only an inch out so i think with some metal bending and re-drilling they could work

Not bad price imo shall be in for trax and then its a stripped back with harnesses and nice install





anyone got any idea if this can be done with the escort mounts?

buy some corsa mounts they wont be much. Where are they out, width ways or length ways?

width by just under an inch... i may put them frames on eBay and then get corsa one's, but tbh don't see why i shud bother paying more for frames when i cud jus drill 2 holes or give them a minor change

aye there only about £50 each for crappy adapter bars or about £100 each for proper frames, cheap as chips

i did think that to but didn't want to seem a cheapskate

i dunno about weakening it, i worked with metal quite a bit for design and this stuffs about 2mm thick and if i cud heat it then it shud remain fine if i were to bend/flex it as i'd just have it resprayed black to remove the marks

if its out width wise, you could chop a bit out the middle bars and weld them back together as those bits offer any support as such with regards to the seats being securely mounted to the car

get some angle iron and attach them to your existing sub frames!
