Is it possible to create an option so you can opt for email notification of a new u2u as in other boards?

i'm sure Ian had issues with it slowing up the server due to amount of mails it'd be sendin out

Last I heard he was having trouble finding room for the cold air feed, so it was just sucking in too much hot air

Possible but I'm not programming for a while now due to some hardware changes, remind me in a month or so.
