the verve are one of the best bands to ever exist IMO

richard ashcrofts solo stuff is good too. its practically the same and has the same singer, guitarist, and drummer as the verve IIRC

interesting fact is that they never made any money from bitter sweet symphany as they did not have the rights to the string samples that they used
