on hte raod you will NOT find a difference between the lexmaul and any other inlet manifold, its not tame, or restrictive! i have one and my 1.6 16v stands at 140bhp.

my dyno shows the velos also is truew to its claims. Get e velos/mantzel and get manifold, cams, pulleys, arp's then a re-map.

dbilas are quite good, fitted one for pav on here a while back. felt very good, no different to the mantzel.

its the dbilas throttle bodys that are shoot (compared to other tb's)

go for:
inlet
enlarged throttle body
exhaust
4 branch
de-cat
panel filter
de-restricted airbox
headwork
matched lower manifold
bigger valves
arp rod bolts
sbd rollers
re-map/custom management
raised rev limit

155bhp

only worth getting cams with vernier pulleys and custom management (mbe, dta etc) as its difficult to dial them in properly for optimum timing.

Don't know how much SBDev charge for rod bolts and pulleys. I dont do the metal pulleys but I've got ARP rod bolts for £45.

shrick, kent, piper

its the rollers/idlers you want.... pulleys are verniers

i'll go look at part no's for you.

Exhaust manifold - again lexmaul is good for mid range..... SBD good alround, PMC good top end

i have:-
cams(kent fast road)
head work
custom remap
lexmaul inlet
supersprint 4-2-1
decat
bfo exhaust system
viper induction kit
sbd metal rollers

thats little lot saw me 139bhp and 121lbft torque

not to bad, i wish people would see past the manzel with its high peak power and saying lexmaul is inferior! its far from it! corsa808 can you post your graph up please so i can compare it to mine

i will post a new one up soon, goimg to get it re-mapped to make the most out of the headwork. its running on the standard ecu at the moment, feels very poor compared to the custom jobbie ive been using recently.

getting it mapped after these type of mods really makes a difference

and the rest mate

to get reasonable gains,

4 branch £180
inlet £450
management £500
headwork £300
arp: £80
sbd rollers: £100

total: £1610
and thats if your fitting it all yourself

btw go for a janspeed manifold. identical to the lexmaul but in mild steel.

and forget cams unless you go to custom management. no 'real gains' otherwise.
