right need some help/advise
woke up this morning to be greeted with a letter from an NCO financial services , il just re-type the letter so you can read it all!

NCO financial services (UK) ltd,a liscened professional debt collection company is instructed to seek IMMEDIATE recovery of all moneys owed to our client.
payment in full is required within 7 days, please note the amount is in us dollars.if you wish to pay in sterling you will need to convert at todays current exchange rate.please contact us on 0870 903 235* if you wish to be notified of the current exchange rate.
Unfortunately due to the nature of your agreement with pay pal we can only accpet payment by cheque,cash,postal order or US dollars.
please contact our help desk on the above number if you wish to discuss this matter further.

basically i havent brought or sold anything on ebay for a very very long time,so i asked her what the email addresse was that the paypal count belonged to and she told me it was like the first email addresse i had, which was roughly about 2 yrs ago,i would of had an ebay account with that account, but now since then i changed my hotmail ages ago so carnt access that acount to check email ect, and when i try to acces that paypal account it just sais "We regret to inform you that this account has been locked. Please contact our Account Review Department at appeal@paypal.com."
it was along time ago i brought or sold form that account , and since then ive held another new paypal and ebay account but havent even used that for the last 11 months????
i rung the number on the letter and it didnt sound like london, sounded like a was talking to an unproffesional housewife, but she had etails in front of her obviously!
WHAT DO I DO???

on the letter head its got RE aypal c/o NCO group, then apart from that the onyl time paypals mentions is when it sais "due to the agreement with paypal must must pay in postal or cheque ect"
basically its been a fair while since i did anything on ebay especially with that account and if i owed them money they would of been after me quiker surely......
dunno what to do though

I had one a bit like this ages ago, but it was only for £16 or something, i sent ebay an email asking them to itemise what money i owed them for what, and when they sent me it, it seemed to make sense, so i payed it. I probably would have paid anyway for an easy life though

o nice one thanks for all the positive help... due to the hotmail addy theyve given me though its not as if i can check for any warning emails ect its been that long
ive asked them to contact paypal and send me details direct, with dates and such
