right i was finishing my cousins boot build today and when we switched the speakers and amps and sub on we could hear the car revving through the speakers?(obv. engine was on)
but how do we get it to stop, we had tied all the phono and power cables away from each other so they dont cross (in the boot)
but
we have found out that:
we have run all 3 phono wires AND the power cables down the passenger door, could this be the problem??
any help please guys?

Its almost certainly the problem, RCA's and power leads need to be kept as far apart as possible at all times.
If its still doing it after uve shifted the cables, then try regrounding the amp. Also, are you using shielded RCA's?

im not sure about shielded rca's but i know that we moved them all apart in the boot so we think the problem is the doors.
Thanks for the help richie, top bloke
