easy to do......???

whats the purpose of the valve?

why is it better not to have it?

what will improve if i remove it?

yeh shouldnt be a problem as long as theres either a) a new brake servo pipe fitted or b) a secure re-connection of the hose where the valve will be taken off!

may as well leave it on they dont do anything just screw the valve shut!

its ment to put a swirl of air into the inlet, for better fuel economy and throttle response, ive ran it on 4 diferent engine now and didnt notice sod all! and unless youve fitted a silencer filter thing on top of it no doubt one of the improvements of removing will be the lack of ssquirell noise when you ease off the throttle!

so a case of removing it and joining the pipes together????

do you think thie valve could have been a factor in my RR result of 152bhp???

my mate george had one on his calibra, removed it and gained a bit of bottom end grunt

if its a removal you want id just screw the eco-tech closed, just the same as not having one!

i had one on mine tuk it off and my car ran alot better i put abit of pipe between where the valve went and put shit loads of tape around it so theres no air gud clean job as corsash and rob-b seen on sunday

tbh imo just close the valve, then your gonna have the most air tight pipe with out replacing it! plus its still gonna look neat and tidy, entirely up to you though all down to personal prefference really!

closed it, took car out for a run and a wee blast...

seemed better, response in 3rd......maybe imagination but..

all good, will give it a longer run tomorrow..
