They do indeed shit in the woods, and they do it often. However, it's nothing like those toilet paper commercials lead you to believe. Most bears use Charmin, not Cottonelle, and actually prefer Charmin Double Rolls. You know, the one with the ridges that make your ass feel real nice? Mmmm. If you see a bear in mid-evacuation, just say hello, ask how he's doing, and keep walking.

i live in Australia, i do not know of Charmin or Cottonelle anymore used to enjoy going for a shite just to use that quilted bliss

You'd have thought they would have had bear bogs by now the dirty sods, I think saying they use charmin is a just a cheap advertising trick cos' we can all relate to how a bear feels with a soft bum
