well mine do - depends on the kit u buy - mine open to about 45 -50 degrees then go up - hence why they look at a funny angle... compared to the american style ones that go up staright away

put a big aluminium spoiler on the back of your car,then if it goes on its roof the back of the car will be about 4ft off the ground and u could open lambo doors enough for you and your granny to get out

i'd go for a variatiion of the spoiler theme but get two half ovals so that if a roll did occur the it would roll onto its side or wheels. Thus leaving at least one exit unblocked

If you rolled a car pretty badly you most probably wouldn't be able to open the normal doors as the car will have twisted and bent/crushed in places, stopping the doors from opening. probably have to crawl out through a window. Might be a good idea to keep a glass hammer in the car if you have them...
