Go to M&S they will give you them straight away with a good rate!!

or the post office or travel agents. You can get them straight away if there is any in stock, if not you just order them. Make sure you aren't getting charged for them though.
Also try and find onewhere that changes them free of charge or not too expensive when you get on holiday or you might end up getting stung for abit of money.

You can also get travellers cheques in whatever currency you want that means it wont cost anything to change over.
