If I won the lottery, to keep me busy I would build a modification car place like R-Tec just off Junction 12 of the M4 next to Porsche in one of the empty units, honestly it would make an absolute packet. I would employ all the greasemonkeys from R-Tec and pay them more to do the lowering, wheel fitting etc etc.

If I won the lottery I would open up Essex Customs and pimp people's rides to the extent that people would laugh at them when they drove down the street

If I won, I would have a bike racing circuit built. Loads of money to be made there.

Depends on size and location, and whether you are going to buy the property or rent it. I guess around £100,000- £750,000 to start up a club, not sure though.

Alternatively you could buy a pub, there was one for sale near me for £700,000, which included a hardcore batch of regulars and several rooms to rent above it, and a lot of land behind it.

Start by talking to a Bank, research possible locations, licenses that you need, competitors, talk to people that own clubs/pubs if possible, maybe start by doing some pub/club work and see what goes on in the running, eventually create a detailed business plan.

I worked as a barman for 2 years then went on to be a doorman for 4, i hope that i have a good understanding of what goes on in a club.

Know a few people in industry i can talk to, how the hell to get that much money though

rent-a-penis

People pay YOU to come round and you entertain them with your faelus.

Price depends on customer needs and wants.

Quick viewing - £10
Long stare - £20
Light fondling - £50
Heavy petting - £100
t!tw4nk - £120
Handjob - £150 (extra £20 if they want sun cream in their face)
BJ - £200
etc....

£1000 gets them a 1 hour 'show'. You dress up in whichever costume they prefer and dance around while holding your willy. When the time is near you shower them with love.

It's totally different to prostitution by the way....

Bank Loan
Remortgage property
Get parents to remortgage property
Venture capital firms
Family
Friends
Find a business partner
Apply for a grant

You would probably get a fair sized loan from a bank if you get together a good business plan, have done a lot of research and prepare well so you know what you are talking about.

Have a chat with a local small business advisor unit, most areas usually have them in some form.

i know someone whos brother is starting up a "funky" bat/club up north - but hes got a pretty good person backing him with all of the capital (been worked out to be around the million mark to start it up) but his business plan was second to none apparently and hes got a few banks on his side as well......

thing is though, unless you have a very special idea or your bar/club is unique in the area, then you will find it difficult

although this is something i would love to do - like said, if i won the lottery cardington hanger 2 will be bought, and if you see pictures of these things, then you get the idea on how big your club could be (ie: about 5 floors+, 10s of rooms/bars etc and still space to build a storage area for rent ) <- yes i was day dreaming

Problem is, at the end of the day, most people go to work for one reason.. .to bring home £££... some people are lucky enough to have jobs that really excite them, challenge them and they have a good laugh... unfortunately office jobs are never those but they are usually reliable and well paying... and thats the crux of the matter. I picked Finance not because its exciting but because it is a sector that has a huge demand for new recruits and pays extremelyt well with great prospects BUT it can also be very tedious... depends whether ultimately you want material possessions & a good, reliable life or to do something that you really love but whcih is unlikely to give you that safety and security :S

Natalie goes horse riding every weekend with a woman who permanently looks after two horses for an old lasy, she doesn't make much money out of it but shes got a job she loves and has the afternoons free to spend with her son... all about choices IMO

Might I add that I would love to jack it all in and travel the world with Natalie but despite the fact that I want to see the world I also want to live in a nice house and drive a nice car etc etc blah blah... its something I don't think I'll ever do but I would love too!

My plan.

A levels -Done
HND
Degree
2 seasons design engineer with the GT team.
Try to get into F1 (engineer) or carry on with GT.
Start a GT team (about age 35-40).
Try and get a big motorsport company like prodrive (45-the rest of my life).

Extremely long term and some unlikely but I`ll try my best because I cannot see myself in any other job and my life is pretty fixed (has been sine 12) on those goals.

Lifes too short to be in an office me thinks, need big career change, something with a bit of excitment.

Anyone else feel like this? I guess a lot of people dont really like what they do but never have the courage to get up and do anything with it.
