I'm a digital Dj, but i'm gonna get my self PCDJ scratch next week which requires decks to mix with.

I'm looking at these http://www.decks.co.uk/products/decks/stanton/str8_30

Any one got any? or can people tell me what they think of them. these are only gonna be used for bedroom Dj'ing btw

Hi mate, there not a bad deck as for learning on or just messing around on in your bedroom.

However if you have more money to spend then id reccomend upgrading to something slightly better, or going on the 2nd hand route and getting a cheap pair of technics or vestax (they hold there money very well though)

as long as the directdrive unit is good in them and it should be with stanton they shold be ok...

although i'd recomend a set of technics really...

Hmmmm...

i'm torn in two minds.

I have the money to get some kick ass decks which i'd love to do, but on the other hand, if there only gonna be for bedroom use i think i should settle for them

a friends brother has them, infact he has a full stanton setup and he's never complained.

I plan on buying some half-decent stuff that should hold its value. I'd rather loose £100 on selling them and playing on some decent equipment

just gotta be careful on Ebay...i know technics are usually rock solid and they normally stay that way. Just make sure u can check the deck before handing over the money if poss.

I know ive been doin the search by distance and the only set going at the mo near (ish) me are £700!!!! With a sh1t mixer
