Hey guys, i was wondering if someone could help me out.
Ive just changed my rocker cover gasket, and it was starting to slowly leak and make a mess.
I did this fine, didnt touch anything else, i didnt add any extra oil or drain any oil, just took the cover off, replaced the gasket and thats it.
Now there is alot of smoke bellowing out from the car, ive take off the shield to have a look underneath and im not sure whats going on.
There seems to be a hole between the manifold and engine, is this normal?
Oil is bubbling out of there and then burning on the manifold (i think), see pictures below:
Does anyone know if this hole is normal? and how i can sort this oil bubbling out problem? im slightly worried.
Thinking about it, the only thing i can think it is, is a overflow pipe, if the engine has too much oil?
Any ideas?
