Ive set up win2k3 routing and remote access server. (with one NIC)
i can connect internally via vpn. (no problems at all)
but not via the web.
my modem/router has pptp, l2tp and ipsec passthrough.
and is set to forward various ports to the server.
i get to the 'verifying username and password' part and then it seems to time out. returning an error.
i think the problem lies in the reply from the server not reachin through the NAT on the modem/router
Anyone any ideas, thoughts, or had this problem?
cheers

I seriously think we should have an 'IT tech' section now. There are a lot of cs users that work in IT now. more than photographers with their snap day

i just dont know why it wont work. as it works connecting internally. and the modem/router has passthrough enabled.
