Mate turn your resolution down to 1024x786 for when designing your site and make sure to test it otherwise you can think your sites amazing but everyone else thinks what the hell?

Remember by using perentage's on cell widths etc you can make the site dynamically change depending on the screen resolution etc. Where as saying width = 250 etc that's a fixed number.

I love people who complain if you make a website not using notepad, but personally I think it's pointless to keep writing a bit of code, then reloading the page to check how something looks - when you could be seeing it as your making it in other packages!

I dont complain if people dont use notepad, the main reason I do it in straight code is because i do it in my degree and a lot of the sites i make include PHP and MySQL

just noticed the option in the bottom right hand corner to use different screen sizes

but when i make it in 800x600, it looks shite in 1024x768 surely it should make it smaller, but it makes it larger

how do i go about changing the cell widths to percentages?

cheers
