Anyone ever been? Went the night of Laydeez Day @ Royal Ascot at York and they do some mad drinks. Whats these shots that the locals are on about that they will serve you if you ask but illegal or something?

I had two of these 70% absinthe/ 70% polish Vodka shots amongst the drinks. They felt like they were pure acid, amazed they stayed down - not a wise move! Ended up walking home with two police men as I was smashed & I got lost & couldn't find the place I was stopping.

I never noticed a placxe in York called this

But then again I was hammered & York is like a fuckin Maze even when your sober


I had a drink last night called "fairy liquid"

Looks exactly like fairy liquid but its very alcaholic

Its a strange place, quite grungy, dark & three stories. Its round the corner from HaHa Bar as we went there after. The wall behind the whole bar is lined with mad drinks from around the world - they must have a bottle of EVERYTHING!

best shot i ever had was called a squashed frog which i got bough for my bday
