I use my car as a sales pitch at work, blah blah blah, in my car, 2.0 turbo, i floor it and wait a week for anything to happen whilst the turbo spins up BUT in this, the power is there from the moment you plant your foot, its brilliant!
But it works!
Fan is working also as it came on at Lee's
Try a cool running thermostat, bigger radiator and bigger oil cooler... Or just take the thermostat out completely for the summer.... Unless there is something mechanically wrong with the cooling system? I noticed with mine it had shit loads of orangy sediment in it. I presume it is the effects of being filled up with water from round here - i.e. hard water... But the only wat to sort that out is to strip the engine to pieces and scrape all the crap out... Takes ages Then you have to blast it all through with an air gun...

Na, they are about £20... £100 for a spring , in fact, £30 for a spring I think that the thermostat from a Ford Zetec engine is actually what a coll running thermostat really is. A large capacity ally rad would be the ideal choice.
