Corsa did me proud. but it was time to move on.
Believe it or not - I had more things go wrong on the corsa, than on my 106 gti. The corsa used to have a sensor break like every other day.

well when i had my 16v SRi and fitted bilstens and eibachs i thought it was the best handling thing ever. Then i drove a 106 rallye and learnt all about what decent handling was. So after that didnt like the corsa too much.
My GSi was a piece of sh1te, absolute mint bodywork but half dead engine.
So i guess my corsa experiences werent that great. Although i had a 1.4 SRi when they were newish and was defo one of the first modded ones round here, back then it turned heads, now it would be a shed

Your sensors were all traumatised for life when you crashed.
