Now that the Gentlemans Agreement has been abolished, what specials are now being pumped out of Japan? I know that Nissan did a special R34 with 350 odd BHP, but what about Mitsubishi, Subaru & Toyota? Anything more than 276bhp on the cards?
We just got a new Impreza over here built by Prodrive Auz, called the WRP10, sits between the WRX and STi

i dont think so, since the WRP10 is only about 240bhp, more powerful than a stock WRX Turbo, but less than an STi. the WR1 is quicker than a stock STi right?

anyhow, the WRP10 is meant to be better than an STi, even though it is pumping less power. Its meant to be a more complete package, and handles much nicer apparently. I also like the look of the WRP10 over the STi.

WR1
Subaru chose Autosport International at the NEC, Birmingham, 10 & 11 January, to unveil a special edition Subaru Impreza WRX STi. The WR1 – as it will be called – celebrates Petter Solberg winning the Driver’s title in the 2003 World Rally Championship. Petter was at the Show on Sunday to officially unveil the car.
On sale in the Spring 2004 and limited to 500 units, the WR1 is instantly recognisable thanks to its new Ice Blue Metallic paint plus driving lamps and stainless steel mesh grille. The new car features a new improved version of the Prodrive Performance Pack upgrade to around 320 PS plus a host of technical and visual upgrades, including a driver’s control centre-differential (DCCD) via a switch mounted next to the handbrake.

Also new for the ‘WR1’ are special, Prodrive-developed up rated springs and bump-stops with a 25mm lower ride-height. Handling features include 18” diameter P-FF7 (Prodrive Flow Forming seven-spoke) alloy wheel with Pirelli Pzero tyres.

Probably be an STI 8 then. Think the JDM cars have a few extra toys.
Has your car got DCCD control Adam?

AK, 320PS puts it way above standard STi's then. Dont like the look of that, i hate the scoop, and the rear wing. much prefer the simpler WRP10.
