When i'm flying in a plane - my ears pop and hurt when coming into land - any1 else have this problem and know what things there are that help?

I always get this problem, normally ill suck on mint imperials or swallow really hard and it stops

The thing that happens when you swallow - the kind of 'click' in your ears that gets rid of the pressure on planes -

- I can do that whenever I want - I kind of flex muscles at the back of my lower jaw - and hey presto.

No need for boiled sweets for me

It's to do with your syness (don't have a cluew how to spell that) some peoples ears pop really badly because of that. It's even worse if you fly witha cold, and the reason why you can't scuba dive with a cold
