We only send emails similar to this if a user specifically resets their own password and such emails will not have an attachment. This email, although claiming to have been virus checked, actually contains a virus. The CS mail scanner will actually have scanned this if it arrives at a CS box but if you get this email to anywhere else I can't guarantee that the attachment will be virus-free.

Mail also will usually come from ian@, not admin, staff, root, account etc. as we don't use generic boxes. The only exception is register@ where registration problems get sent, but this is only for checking, the reply will come from Tim or I.

If in doubt, delete and confirm with me by a mail direct to me, or u2u if you are still logged in, or MSN if you have it. We don't reset your password without you asking, we don't ask for passwords and we don't send attachments.

No, I'm going to see if Tim can set up a special spam rule to remove anything pretending to be official so it shouldn't be a problem soon. Just in case anyone received anything this week.
