As some of you may remember my Corsa had a revving problem!

It went off to the garage to be looked at and they tell me it's an electrical fault and they couldn't fix it there!

So it went to Vauxhall! They plugged their computer into it and they said that the ECU in my car wasn't the right one for it! The reason it was revving on it's own was because the ECU thought my car had air conditioning and was therefore putting more petrol through when it decided I had switched it on

So the car is now having a new ECU fitted The company that do it only deal with ECUs and they said it was possible the old one isn't even a Vauxhall ECU!

Just thought I would share this with everyone

how the fuck did a non vauxhall ecu get in your car in the first place?

A question I have asked myself many a time?

I have only had the car 2 1/2 months
