my mate just came accross this website http://www.ladmotorsport.co.uk
hes looking at there engine upgrade for a vtr and the package for the 106 gti -apparently they can give you 170 bhp gain on the engine for a resonable £2000 - he asked me what i thought id said that sounds pretty good for a 45bhp gain
whats your views on this

170gain?  thats quite a lot
i looking into vr6 tuning and 15bhp/20lbs torque for £1700

My mates got a 106 GTi with the LAD 160 conversion on it and got 164bhp on the rolling road and since had a performance manifold fitted aswell. Its bloody quick but still got beaten by Paul Hev off here who has a Saxo VTS he modded himself and is only estimated at around 150bhp!

think its internal work and exhaust upgrade. I know it doesnt include cams
