Missus has rang me to tell me her car failed its MOT

They want £166 for supply and fit brakes for an Escort GTi.

Priced it up my self. Two vented disks plus pads £61 including vat deliverd to my door before 9am tomorrow.

they do have to charge for labour....

2 hours is a bit much (based on 40or so an hour)

well if u can do it yourself, do it.


remember a garage is a buisness, and needs to pay the fitters, vat, insurance, electric, rent for the premises, other overheads etc....

So just over £100 to fit disks and pads is good
