I know I read on BT website if you have ADSL with them, you'll get a free upgrade but it still says my connection is only 576kb.
I think I'm paying the 15 GB allowance one (which should be 2mb) but was only 512 kb when I started - so what's the deal? will I get upgraded? will I only be upgraded to 1mb? or 2mb? if at all?

If your paying for 15GB allowance you will get a 2meg connection

Ours got upgraded to 1mb (for £10 though), it's running at 2.2mb and it stops working every hour or so  We're with Pipex.

thought pipex was suppose to be good.
I am with Bt-yahoo
been with them for 2 years, no problems what so ever in 2 years, lovely and fast,
Best thing about it they have charged me £21 a month for the last 2 months and my down limit doesnt come into play untill the end of the year 
If i use 15gig easily a month i will piss off to another isp, most prob tesco as i have heard rumors that they are upgrading their 512k serivce to 1 meg soon and also no download limits all for £17.97 a month,
that will do me fine
