This was my motor when I got it;

This is with my new 16" TD Monzas(195/45),

As you can see, the back looks abit high so would like to see a pic of how 1.6 sports sit with Eibach -30mm springs and standard shockers.
Thanks

IMO 30mm is only half a job, if your going to lower a car then do it properly, go for 60mm all round!

if your concerned how the car looks i agree with you.... for performance... ride.. and general drivablility... -30-40 is a good compromise

IMO 60mm is un-practical considering the state of the roads today. I just want to reduce the arch gap and have the car sit more level.

Well if you've only got a standard front bumper then its not really unpractical
Even my gsi bumper only slightly scrapes the rubber splitter over huge speedbumps. Its probably a harsher ride than 40mm but personally 60mm on 16's is the perfect combonation

and 60mm would mean buying new shockers to. Welshdude, yours appears to have cm or two of clearance above the wheel, mine measures 6 and 5cm as it is now.
