just out of interest how would the corsa fare against the beema? off the mark up to about 80?

id say the bmw should have the edge, but remember they weight double a corsa.

im guessing he couldnt drive then as i was next to him to about 30 then pulled away till about 70-80 where i slowed down for a roundabout. was a big black dude with tints and an afro, so probably had about 50k of ganjaweed in the boot alongside his hostage!

A 330Ci sport does 0-60 in 6.5 seconds. They are limited to 155mph. It might be close for a couple of seconds but the BMW would be off after that.

Heard of some people on Scoobynet having trouble shaking these motors off on straights etc!

Stats are very similar, ever quarter mile is within half a second. It would all be down to the start and how well the gearchanges are executed.

I'd rather be driving the Corsa though. I'm sure you get an alternative highway code with loads of bad driving in it free with each Beemer.

I chased one down Wiggington Road in York , long straight. I had to ease off. I think you may have read the thread wrong. They said the 330 is very heavy and performance is reflected in this. However it does have a higher top speed.
