PMSL very cleverly worded, not very ethical though, I wonder if the guy that is selling them knows how much trouble he can get in with the dvla...

its like the "xbox box" that sold for 100 quid and was simply an old xbox cardboard packaging, or the picture of a rolex that sold for £2000

if people are dumb enough to not read carefully then they deserve to get ripped off lol!!

sure there is no law stating that you can not sell old numberplates is there? thought they should be tho

Yeah there is, numbers must only be sold to their documented owner, you must supply reg doc to get plates made.

If you want 100% road legal plates you need to provide a copy of the log book and also a form of ID eg. passport or driving license. The name & postcode of the plate manufacture has to be along the bottom of the plate aswell, plus the manufacturer has to be DVLA registered and keep the paperwork for three years.

If you want show plates it's a different story...very complicated legally though.

but he could argue that he is just selling novelty plates, i know they are illegal if put on car and require documents but im sure there isa way around it lol
