and someone must know where peak power is made surely?!  Im pretty sure that it is 6250... 
 
when i change at 6200, the revs drop to arounds abouts 4200, and this is where peak torque is (approx.) 
 
well tbh i am not sure as my rev counter may be out but mine seems to pull all the way round the rev range. I am guessing around 6250-6500 and i cross the line almost hitting the limiter in thrid 
 
 
when im driving hard its always in that rev range...

mine looked to be aprox 7200+ 
 
but i have the ECU at home.... shell looked intact, and when opened no evidence of a physical chip

dont have any management,  just an armtech rev limiter i think its called.  Anyone know what power my engine should be?  was told 200bhp but i thought this was a little high.  C20XE with uprated kent cams and verniers, twin 48 carbs, bored out to a 2.1 with racing pistons and stage 2 head, oversized 4 branch with full stainless system with no cat, think thats it. It doesnt feel any faster than my old standard engine but then i aint booted it yet as been running it in and want to get it all checked before i really boot it

Did a 15.1 and cross the line doing 97 mph with an f16 box 
 
I suspect Halfpint did it marginally better as he got a 15 dead in my car

been getting around 200 miles to a tank but as i said aint floored it yet since not 100% set up right and also want to run it in first,  done 700 miles in it now so as soon i get back onshore i will be getting it set up.  Think i have another porous head tho, any one know the price to sort them?  I thought since it had had head work done then it would have had the sleeve put in but obviously not.

nah its just a gm head,  got two porous heads now,  didnt think it was that common a problem.  new ones seems worse but think it might be worse since the thermostat aint fitted just now so water pressure is lower the high pressure oil gets through the crack easier
