If your girlfriend has a cousin, and you get married to said girlfriend, what relationship would you have with that cousin? Cousin-in-law?!
Thanks!

Dunno, I was gonna say hey future cousin in law to my gfs cousin on msn but then got into this massive confusion about it, and then me and my gf couldn't work it out, so i thought, I know, the CS community will know!
Yeah im bored, meant to be revising for A levels
and 2nd and 3rd cousin was for different generations wasn't it? rather than when people get married?
thanks anyway

My mum and dads cousins are my Second cousins according to my mum (she does family tree shite), but we were brought up to call my dads cousins Uncle/Aunt but my mums cousins are alot younger so we tend to call them by their first name...

Boab you've just confused me with that explanation
just call everyone by their first name and dont worry about if they're a cousin or second cousin, problem solved
