Looking at this for a first bike.

What do people think? Price seems a bit cheap, maybe a bargin though?

Not really clued up on bikes, anyone help?

Also, what to look for when picking bike up.

depends if u have ridden a mx bike b4???
check all engine mounts and any other obvious defects such as rads and Suspension top mounts are straight not twisted. Also look at fork seals, chain and sprocket condition. Ask when it was rebuilt as it will need it regulary... sold my rm125 3 years ago so forgot alot of wot to look for

Thats a great motocross bike if thats what you want to do, motocross?
If you have never ridden a motorbike then i wouldnt buy this.

didn't win anyhow, some new bidder did. probably a fuckin timewaster as well. rode on a mates a few times. looking to get into it, and wanting a starter bike.

they are gd bikes and will go for ages, just sold my CBR400 about 20mins ago and now i want a supermoto!!!

Its meant to be like that. As the swinging arm rises and the rear shock compresses the chain tightens so if you had a tight chain to start off with it would stretch or snap when the suspesion comresses.

That cant be right. The chain is mounted around where the swinging arm pivots from so the length of the chain shouldnt alter. My manual for mt DT125 which is almost identical says the chain should only have 1" of travel at the middle of the lonest flat of the chain.
