up at 7 to meet the others for half past, went in convoy with a mint Lotus Carlton which had just come out of storage after being wrapped up for some time, and two Mk4 2.2 SRi astras...
by 8am we were on our way when disaster struck, I hit a deer at some speed on the M10... making quite a mess of it, but luckily not my car 
will never no how it didnt destroy the front end of my car but it didnt!
So on we went, and an hour or so later we were pulling into the Pod for some brekkie. sold a few bits and pieces I had taken up for various people... and bought myself front and rear strut braces for my GTE and some shiny new sill protectors.
Went to get a couple of photos of the cars... but had forgotten the battery for my Digi cam.... DOH! 
so went for a run up the strip against my friends Mk4 SRi
my first run was 15.30
second run 15.27
third run 15.24
all crossed the line at 90.something - mph
and my 60ft time was always 2.4...
Not bad for a first attempt in a standard GTE 16v with 110,000 miles on the clocks. Should hopefully have some vids to bore you all with in the next few days...
what sort of times were the XE corsa chaps running??

was only looking at Novas near the Mig stand I think, not sure if I made it to the CS or Novaload stands... Car looks fresh ollie!!
I got some quality videos of me running up the strip and wasting a MK4 2.2 SRi...
just got to find some time to upload!
