If a car had an engine fire, and the whole front end of the car went up in flames, with the obvious exception of the loom and plastic bits, would the engine be ok?
I.e. would I be able to change the loom, sensors and plastic bits and whatnot and off I go?

I'm on about generally, as i've seen one or two cars in the salvage yard that would be good for breaking and selling.
