im friends with a lad who is a taker.

I've sorted things out for him in the past but hes very selfish and is a taker.

Always has to have his own way.

he bought some seats on ebay. Corbra didnt make the sub frames. I contacted cobra for him they made him subframes and gave him loads of leather the same colour as his seats.

He bought an air filter and it came with no instructions. I contacted joff who gave me the contact details of the correct person at pipercross and he got a free filter for the effort.

If we go in to town its always got to be where he wants to go. Never where any body else wants to go.

Hes to tight to get gym membership so i have left him borrow mine for the health club. Not once has he said thanks.

Its always about whats in it for him.

Rant over. . . .

I'll lend any of my mates money if if I have it and if it's to come and get pished with me and i'm always the first to pay back if I've lent money, some of my friends aren't very good at that

people dont need mates that are takers, they just use you and thats it they arent real mates
just forget about them and concentrate on your mates that are worth knowing
thats just my personal opinion

I agree with this.

I earn a reasonable amount for my age and dont really have a problem with buying people things etc.

Monday me and Alex ^^^ went to the pub. He didnt once have to put his hand in his pocket. Saturday night we went in to town he had £15 on him. I paid for drinks for him and so did other friends. I dont have a problem with it. I've been friends with alex since he was 3. I know if im in trouble he will help me out and vice versa.

But selfish cunts who are only in it for what they can get really annoys me.

I know what u mean, im mates with a lass, we go kickboxing on a wednesday, i text her a few times last week and she didnt reply so i left it for abit, we were supposed to go last night and she didnt get into contact with me.

Really annoys me, you dont pick and choose when you want to be mates.

my brother is like that, he does something for you and you never hear the last of it, no matter how many things i've done for him, they just seem to get ignored.
Then again my best mate is on loads more money then me so i always tell him to get me a drink, thing is he knows that if it was the other way round i'd do it for him.

I have mate slike this and it annoying I lent one of them a Tenner for petrol to go a cruise with us through to Callendar got on the motorway and he disappeared his excuse was " we raced away and he couldn't keep up!!" we were doing 80 not 120 on the motorway ffs!!!

then he Needed a Car for the day as his was in the garage so instead of lending him my corsa (i didnt like folk driving it) I offered to take him to his Work and pick him up he worked shifts and it was like 3pm till 3am No thanks and he never done anything for me!!

Another mate who never had his license, used to ask if i could pick him up take him to the cruise or drive round the town for a bit (to get him out the house really) so i used to pick him up go down the retail and hang about with other mates, Since I lot my license he's never phoned or txt to meet up to go to the pub or anything

It really is annoying so i know where your coming from!

I wouldn't like to think i was a taking things and not giving anything back I'm pretty good that way, and i always bend over backwards to help my Mates!,

Macd (owner of the "Storm Trooper" )especially has been good to me since I've been unemployed, he's taken me to meets with Astrasport and to shows and paid me in and stuff when i've been skint, to repay him I done alot of work to his car, helped fit "that" kit, I even helped him redecorate his house and gut it (And Cleaning it was no easy job his ex was a lazy cow!!!) I always lend him My Xbox and i loaned him my Soundsystem before i gave it away

Ali (from the site) Has been great aswell, always picking me up and taking me up town or even down to our mates house, To repay him i fitted his 17"s, Rolled his arches, Took his rear 50mm springs off, Organised a swap for them (Icy couldnt get Karens off her tigra though useless pilloch ) and when he gets the 40's i'll put them back on and make any adjustments to his arches thats needed!

I Might not be giving Macd and Ali money but i'm sure as hell saving them some!

I know exactly what you mean. I have got a firend just like that. I am always there for her, always sort things out for her etc. When she was having family probs i listened and let her stay at mine for a bit. Then she made up with a mate who had been nasty to us for years and completely dropped me. Then out of the blue she rings me up apologising and wanting to be mates again. I accepted her apology and have only just found out that she fell out with this other girl she made up with. She jus uses me all the time. She was never their for me when my mum n dad split up, n she struggles to come to college for me to help me with my assesments for beauty therapy. It gets on my nerves. Nobody ask why i am friends with her... coz i don't know.

i have possibly 3/4 best mates that would do anything for me and id do the same for them,

Others are just mates and i dont help them out so much so dont expect anything back, thats the best way!!
