Hey,
Basically my dad got an advent 7011 (was £1400) about a year and a half ago. after 6months of usin it, my mum knockd it and it fell on floor breaking end of charger, my uncle did a DIY job mending it, worked for couple weeks.
We then moved house and never bothered. Bougt a charger other day for £55 and plugged it in.. it didnt bloody work
Went to Currys where my mum bought it. they said she could still take extended warranty @ £380 odd lol
Local computer shops had a mess and dont know what to do..
Please help
Jamie

You can't claim warranty for a user damaged machine - they will tell you to fuck off - quite rightly. Especially after you, your uncle Bob and the local computer shops have fucked around with it..

Does the extended warranty cover you for user/accident damage or just an extension to the standard manufacturers warranty?
