I recently bought all my new computer parts off e-buyer.com. I got a call from egg(my c card company) at work to confirm this purchase. So i confirmed it and when i gte home I checked the website only for it to say "payment error". So i re input the details of my c card and it said pament error again!!. I then cancelled the order and tried to re-order it. No i have insufficent funds. I rang egg this morning and they say that the transaction amount has been taken from my card. I then rang ebuyer and they said they had declined the amount???
Anybody been in a similiar situation?
What should i do?
Jam
P.S sorry for the essay!

ebuyer regularly pull tricks like this.
They take money out without permission etc.
Well i say without permission, noo doubt in the t&c's you agree to they do get your permission but its not obvious anyway.

speak to your credit card company again and ask for the exact date, credit card transaction authrisation number and then hammer into ebuyer with that info

I have an Egg card and if you don't receive the goods you paid for within 30days you get a full refund through egg and egg chase the company.

when i worked at argos, they told me to say that payment has been "requested" and if it was declined by the CC company, they need to wait for that request for "expire" before they can use the card.
Eg. when you spend somethin on your card and go the cash point you will still hav the same amount in the bank for a bit but it wont be as much "available" to withdraw.
Dunno if thats bollox or not tho lol
