Car's just been in the garage and I presume that the bolt wasn't put back on the dipstick. Anyway it's not come loose and I can't figure out how to put it back on, any advice? In Haynes it says something about 'O rings'?

Cheers

According to my Haynes manual (for 1.0 12v) it says it has a guide tube & just pushes in and has o-rings as seals. As it has come out, go to vaux and buy the new o-rings and refit.

Get a set of bolt extractors or Ez-outs. The boggest one should wedge in that pipe and you should be able to twist it out... Then just replace the pipe with a new one
