Does it use any parts of the 14 mile Nurburgring track or is it a sepperate track to the 14mile one ?

seperate, they banned racing onn the nordschleiffe as its too long to marshall, hardly any drivers know the whole track,
they use a specially built track caled the nurburgring now!!

would be quality if they went around the 14mile track would be good to see what top speed they can get upto on that long straight, hockenheim is shit now since they modified that 2 years ago and that nurburing track looks shit.

They stopped using the Nordschleife as its not in the best of conditions, just not suitable for an modern F1 car. (as 73 corners of it!)

the nurburgring is a lovely track, i have been lucky enough to visit there with the race team twice.
1st time i was taken around the nordschleiffe and the second time i was in the pace car for the race.

Lovely flowing track and many people like it.
Spa is a nice track as well

i stayed in the hohe acht hotel, top right of old track

used to walk down to the carousel after breakfast each morning to see who was about

Is the carousel as a speical place as I think? Its just got so much caracter that track and thats the most famous corner.
