What a day..

left my house at 7am and was driving along (1st time xe corsa has been driven above 30 and more than a mile)

got about 15 miles from my house, slowing down for a roundabout, looked at speedo, sitting at 40 then it just dropped and stopped working.

so i pulled over into a garage on the rounabout..

lifted the bonnet to find the problem, but it was too hot to put hand down to sender. i knew the tracking was out but didnt think it was to bad, looked at my n/s tyre and the inner edge had worn down to the cords in that small distance

so i had to buy two new tyres @ 120 quid.

once we left the garage i got nearly to where we was and lost all gears. went all sloppy in the left to right movement.

luckily i was outside the garage door so we pushed it in.

found out that the ball joint on the gear linkage had come off, i must have not clipped it on properly

But finally got it all sorted and here is a pic of me new pipes...

had a full system from manifold back, with a cat

well chuffed, sounds amazing

Dan

Polite way of saying now you have a proper engine, get rid of the bodykit and make it subtle.

to be honest im fed up of all this sleeper shite thats floating about! who gives a toss, admittedly im not into body kits etc, wouldnt have one on my car, but standard looking corsas with big engines in are nice etc, im interested in the performance of them, but i like to look at a kitted up car with a nice engine. people are too obsesed with the whole sleeper thing. so what, you can beat someone who thinks you have a standard 1.2 8v merit but really you have a 9548484373bhp 8lt v8, id hope you win!
granted i like the styling of your car however strange that may sound.

yes wasnt to keen on taking it to powerflow, but after kerry, luke and darren said how good they were i decided to give it a go.

there work quality was amazing. and really helpful to. told me any slightest problem with it, go straight back and they will be on the case straight away.
