They havent given a reason.

I have left and handed my notice in. Now they are refusing to let me have my wage slips for the wages i have been paid since leaving.

Why do you need your wage slips? The P60 has all you have earnt and tax paid on it.You can get a copy from the taxman.

i wouldnt want to go as far as saying its illegal but i do know that you should always recieve your wage slip before you are paid,obviously you have not but they are your personal property so i would demand them if i was you.

had a wee search and found this

Pay Slips
If you are an employee you have a legal right to receive your own detailed written pay statement from your employer at or before the time that you are paid. The only people who do not have this right are members of the police service, certain people in the fishing industry and freelance agents, A pay statement or payslip must by law give written details of the following details:

your 'gross' pay i.e. before tax taken off;
the amounts of any deductions and why they are deducted. E.g. for income tax, trade union subscriptions or payments to charity;
your 'net' pay i.e. after tax has been taken off;
net amount of any wages or salary payable;
details of how your pay will be paid i.e. by cash or cheque or straight into your bank account (known as a BACS payment).
If you are not receiving a pay slip you can make complaint to an employment tribunal. All complaints must be made within 3 months of being paid without a pay slip.

Seems abit petty that they are refusing to give you your wage slip.

Why cant you just phone them up, ask for your wage slip, if they say no, then ask why, then explain you will be taking legal action if they do not give you your wage slip which they are legally required to do

Hmm isnt there a P46. For when you cant get a P45. It is againsr the law not to get a P45.

As long as you have handed your notice in then you can have your P45.
