Been given a ticket which is fair enough cos i forgot about the time.

Anyway, on the ticket they've got my plate slightly wrong, putting V003 when it should be VO03 - letter O rather than number 0. Only found out when i tried to pay online cos it couldnt find the ticket.

Does this mean the ticket is invalid? They did get my tax disc number - can they find my address from that?

What i need to kno tho is, can they use the number from the tax disc to find out my address and send the ticket there?

Im sure theres a rule that if they get any of the details wrong then its invalid!!

ring up and say ive been trying to pay a parking ticket online V O zero three and when they say its not on the system then leave it.

It is invalid, as it has been issued to a vehicle with a different registration to yours

I'd double check with the correct authorities before dismissing the fine.
