nope, but cheers for reminding me mate - friend of mine suggested HSBC, do rail cards with accounts etc, plus alot of uni's have HSBC cash points etc 
you applied for your student load though through your LEA?

i went for the student railcard one with HSBC.. you get it for 5 years i think.. BONUS
also went through SLC (student loans company) to get my thingy..

Yeah just looking at the HSBC one.

last time i looked, they were still doing the railcards - which will be more useful to me as i wont have a car by sept 
Btw, anyone know when we have to apply for our LEA loans?
also, anyone heard back from there uni's? i sent the final "yes i want to go there" slip a good month back and ive heard fuck all from them

apply ASAP for loan.. then you will get the money in september
if your late you wont get it till october time
as for uni not getting back to ya.. they usually do mid june i think it is..

Filling my form out today, fucking loads to do 
Thats why I am opening my account, so the put the money into my spanking new bank account.
I choose Natwest for now, got a five year railcard.

I got all my final offers.
Goto Ucas and go on track to see your offers. I accepted mine on there too.
I got two dates btw, July and August 12th for LEA.

just noticed hsbc stopped the rail card 
dick, you say natwest offer it though?
i think you need to apply for the LEA student loan by 1st july, otherwise the final deadline is 12th Aug, and you will get yee money in october time like stevey said - so thats something i need to do 
yea ive accepted my uni offer on the ucas site, then they sent me a form that i filled out saying that im defo going to the uni and ive heard sod all - but ill leave it until june, then ill start phoning the uni
