Yesterday i had a afternoon rallying at silverstone!
Was brillaint and so much better than expectations!
Driving:
Peugeot 206 rally cup car,
1600 - 160 bhp, full cage, dog box with 6 gears, basically it was a full on rally car not just a 206 that had a cage fitted! LSD so 90 was acheivable in 3rd on gravel!!!
2 15 minute sessions, improved on my scandinavian flick, handbrake turns, all sorts and second session got some large power slides going!
Did things i never thought was acheivable in a front wheel drive car!
End of the day i got 91% - not to blow my own trumpet but was highest of the day
So i asked about the rally challange and he said its a good idea to enter!
So i have!!!
Pics and videos will be uploaded later!!
Also - we got upgraded to executive suite in hotel and got free use of local health place all day saturday as our room had a leaky tap and the floor was soaked

Must admit i was surprised at what i could do at the end, scandinavian flick and fast power slides in a front wheel drive car!
Driven rear wheel drive lightning rods before and no where near as much fun

I went on the elise one, two sessions of 6 laps (i think) of the circuit, it says 4k max the first time round, so i kept to that - although the instructor told me to redline it he said "we dont mind you using our petrol, take the revs to 6k" lol, so its better than you think mate
